The 2nd floor dining hall at Pace University closed for two hours yesterday at 6 PM in preparation for the late night breakfast event held near the end of each semester. The free event, which began at 8 PM, featured music, games and giveaways of $10 Grubhub gift cards and Monster Energy.

As early as 6:45 PM, students lined up to guarantee they could munch on breakfast fare, which included eggs, hash browns, waffles, sausage, fresh fruit, bagels, and miniature pastries. Ice cream was available on the 6th floor.
Autumn Cannon, a Freshman majoring in International Relations and Diplomacy at Dyson, won a $10 Grubhub giftcard (students could spin a wheel for prizes after proving they followed the Pace Eats Instagram account).

“I think this one went a little bit smoother than the one from winter semester.” Cannon explained the line was not as long this time around. “It was a really good experience because [last time] everyone was all piled on top of each other, basically waiting.”
When asked how the event could have been better, Misa Seto, a Freshman double-majoring in Stage Management and Communications at Sands, said “I just wanted some hot sauce with my eggs.” Cannon agreed.
“If I hear there’s free food, I’m there,” Seto said, noting “Some of my friends got here at 6:45 PM.”
“What is this, camping for like a concert?” Ashley Carnicella, a Freshman majoring in Psychology at Dyson, joked.
Katarina Kimintillava, a Freshman majoring in Finance at Lubin, said “I think bagels, because that’s a bagel, should have been not even toasted, but warm at least. Because let’s be honest. Cold bagels with the cold cream cheese is not it.”
